Terms of Service

Last updated September 2, 2026

These terms govern your use of Warranty Pad at warrantypad.com (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Warranty Pad.

The Service

Warranty Pad helps you store warranty records, extract details from photos or PDFs, and send email reminders 90, 30, and 3 days before a date you provide. Company accounts can keep a list of customers and their warranties.

Warranty Pad is a record-keeping and reminder tool. It is not a warranty, insurance policy, legal advice, or a promise that a manufacturer or shop will honor coverage. Always keep your original documents.

Accounts

You must provide a valid email and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Customer and company portals are separate; pick the account type that matches how you use the Service.

Plans and payment

Your content

You retain rights to the files and information you upload. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content so we can operate the Service, including text extraction and reminder emails.

Extracted fields can be wrong. You must review and correct details before relying on them. Do not upload content you do not have the right to store.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Service, attempt to break it, probe other customers’ data, send spam, or upload malware. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or create risk for other users.

Reminders

Reminders are sent by email to the address you save on a warranty. Delivery depends on your inbox, spam filters, and the dates you entered. We do not guarantee that every notice will arrive or that you will see it in time.

Availability

We aim to keep Warranty Pad available, but we do not guarantee uptime. Features, prices, and limits may change. If we discontinue the Service, we will try to give reasonable notice using your account email.

Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for missed expirations, denied warranty claims, lost files, or indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for a claim relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you have not paid.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your records at any time. We may suspend or close an account for unpaid invoices, abuse, or legal reasons. After closure, we may delete stored files subject to backups and the Privacy Policy.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Arizona have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief anywhere.
